POEM – SWEET LIES
Once through the smoke screen which lies do I believe?
Will it be yours or mine that I live.
Interlaced in between mine are my meaningful words.
The perception of yours are pleasant swords.
The sweet lies cut so beautifully.
The blood that pours paints the perfect picture to hide any misery.
My lies support yours in harmony.
Words that underpins the beautiful blood stained skyline.
Only our kind can see the the darkness shine.
To realize the plot of the play.
Means there is no longer more to say.
The lies have become far too grand for me to swallow.
So today I choose to believe in the now.
