POEM – BLUE BIRD
Like a blue bird with clipped off wings.
Stranded in the middle of the sea as she sings.
I’m hollering for someone to save me.
Blinded by the sun’s happy rays I’m no longer able to see.
Still haunted by the sharp words, I’m distraught.
Like a bursting volcano it burns me inside out.
Drained, dazed and confused.
I want to fly away, I’m feeling so used.
All out of pride, hand reluctantly over eyes.
Shouting forcefully letting out all the cries.
I’m all out of fucks to give today.
Maybe ask me now I’m doing another day.
